Data Management
Last updated: 10 Sep 2026
Endgame holds personal information about you because a matchmaking platform cannot work without it. This page explains what we hold, how long we keep it, and how you can access, correct or delete it. For the full picture of how we collect and use your data, see our Privacy Policy. This page is about the controls you have.
1. What we hold
Broadly, four kinds of information:
- Profile data — the details you enter during onboarding: name, date of birth, photographs, education, work, location, family background, partner preferences, and anything else you add to your profile.
- Verification data — any government-issued identity document you submit for age or identity verification, and the result of that check.
- Activity data — your likes and the messages sent with them, your matches, unmatches and rejections, reports you make or receive, and how you use the app.
- Account and payment data — your login details, subscription status, and records of any Endgame Platinum payments. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store them.
2. Getting a copy of your data
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time. Write to support@endgame.co.in from the email address linked to your account.
- We may ask you to verify your identity first, since this is the one request where getting it wrong means handing your data to someone else. We'll respond within 30 days.
- Your copy will include your profile, verification status, activity history and account records. It will not include another user's personal data — so where a conversation involves someone else, we share your side of it and not theirs, and we do not share who viewed your profile or who rejected you.
3. Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the Settings section in the app. If you no longer have the app, email support@endgame.co.in from your registered address and we'll delete your account. Deletion is permanent. We do not offer account reactivation, so if you think you may return, you'll be starting over.
When you delete:
- Your profile stops being visible to other users immediately.
- Your matches see the conversation end; they are not told why.
- Any active subscription does not automatically refund. Cancel through Google Play separately if you want billing to stop.
4. What happens to your data after deletion
Most of your personal data — profile details, photographs, preferences, activity history — is erased within 30 days of deletion. Some data is kept longer, for specific reasons:
- Safety records — If you were reported, banned, or removed for violating our policies, we retain enough information to enforce that ban and to stop the same person from re-registering. Keeping this is the only way a ban means anything.
- Legal and financial records — Payment and tax records are retained for the period required under Indian law.
- Records under legal obligation — Where we are required to preserve records — for example, in response to a lawful request from law enforcement, or in a matter involving child safety — we retain them for as long as that obligation lasts.
- Messages you sent to another user remain in that user's copy of the conversation. We cannot remove content from someone else's account, in the same way that deleting a message you sent by email does not remove it from the recipient's inbox.
5. Correcting your data
You can edit most profile details directly in the app. Changes to certain fields — including your date of birth and photographs — go through review before they become visible, and we may ask for verification if a change would affect your eligibility to use Endgame.
If something you cannot edit yourself is wrong, write to support@endgame.co.in.
6. Your rights under the DPDP Act
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or completed, to have it erased, to withdraw your consent, and to nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
Withdrawing consent means we can no longer operate your account, so we treat a withdrawal as a deletion request and will tell you before acting on it.
You also have the right to complain. Reach our Grievance Officer first at support@endgame.co.in; we acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Where your data is held
Your data is stored on servers in India, operated by AWS and Azure. Where we use third-party services — payment processing, analytics, identity verification, cloud hosting — those providers process data on our instructions and only for the purposes we set.
